Barking Dogs can be a serious problem, but with dog training, there are a number of ways to stop them barking.

Barking is instinctive behavior for a dog and they start up when they are afraid, excited, uncomfortable or when they just want to say something.  Normally a barking dog is not dangerous. 

We like them when they yap a warning and when they emit a playful sound, but uncontrollable barking can cause serious problems with neighbors and friends. 

Some dogs just seem to get into a habit and it can be very difficult to stop. Some dog owners turn to dog whisperers, and other trainers use different training methods to try and stop their dogs from keeping the neighbors awake. 

Dog noise can be controlled when your new pet understands who is the alpha dog.

Dogs are pack animals, so they like to belong to a group. When you bring a new dog into your home as a pet, the new dog looks at the people in the house as part of his new pack. And he looks at you as the alpha dog, so you are the boss. You have to do the training and controlling. That means when the new addition to your family starts barking, you have to growl at it or pinch its ears just to let it know it has done something wrong. 

This is only one way to try and stop barking. There are many others ways and some of the popular are the stop barking collars as well as various training methods. These are the training methods and collars that I like to use. But as with most things to do with dogs, one size does not fit all, so if one method doesn't work try another, and soon enough your beautiful lovely new pet wont keep the neighbors awake at night.
